Ailene C. Wilcox, 80, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Reliance, Tennessee, on April 19, 1945, to the late Joe and Amanda Shell Carver.

Ailene enjoyed cooking, working in her garden and taking care of her flowers.  She was a very devoted and loving grandmother.  Ailene was a member of Towee Baptist Church and always looked forward to spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Joe and Amanda Shell Carver, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Wilcox; brothers, Junior and Bud Carver; sisters, Ruth Black and Gene Wilcox.

Left to cherish the many memories include her beloved sons, Steve (Amy) Wilcox and Stacy (Becky) Wilcox; loving daughter, Tasha (Jake) Brock; grandsons, Blake, Brett, and Chris; granddaughters, Kaleigh, Beth, Kendra, and Kayleigh; great grandchildren, Aubree, Aleah, Adelyn, Madison, Canaan, Zeke, Avery, and Bryer; sisters, Florene Jenkins, Grace Webb; brother, Harlod Carver.  Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home, with Pastor Johnny Townsend officiating.  Interment will follow at Greasy Creek Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
