Alexander "Butch" Balkun, 73, of Benton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Middletown, Connecticut to the late Honnor and Alexander Balkun, Sr. on February 8, 1946. In his later years, he moved to Chokoloskee, Florida where he resided for over 30 years. He owned and operated ABC Lawn Care in Chokoloskee and later was employed at Wal-Mart Supercenter of Athens. He loved to fish, travel and spend time with his family.

Butch was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Corliss Balkun; one sister, Jeri Gay.

Survivors include his beloved daughter, Anderia (Tate) Price; adored grandchildren, Deagan Price and Aubrey Price.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Benton Memorial Gardens.
