Alice Green Harbison, 88, of Benton, TN passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 peacefully in a local healthcare facility.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and touched many people throughout her life. Alice retired from Benton Banking Company after 43 years. She was a faithful member of Benton United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.A., Sr. and Annie Adelaide Green; brother-in-law, Thomas C. Greene and special brother Warren (Runt) McQueen; father-and mother-in-law George W. and Ella Eaves Harbison; brother-in-law, Winfred Harbison and special sister-in-law, JoAnn Finnell.

Alice is survived by her husband of 68 years, Charles Harbison; sons, Steve (Rita) and Chris (Louise) Harbison; grandchildren, Allyson Hannah, Lindsay (Jason) Surlas, Christen Harbison, Greer Harbison, Brown Harbison; great-grandchildren, Logan Brewer, Luke Hannah, Charlie Hannah, Chloe Surlas, Chase Surlas; step-granddaughters, Laura McKinney and Lisa Inglis and their children, Ana Carden and Evan Inglis; step great-granddaughter, Aubrey Hannah Powell; brother, W.A. (Joyce) Green, Jr.; sister, Vera L. Greene. Several special nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Benton United Methodist Church, Benton, TN with a memorial service following at6:00 p.m. with Reverend David Whaley and Reverend Betsy Switzer officiating.
