Althea Boyd, 92, of Benton, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at an Etowah healthcare facility. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillian Cole Lucier; husband, Richard Boyd; brother, Calvin King; and sister, Ruth Kircher. Her survivors include her children, Dr. Doug Boucher and wife, Katie, Sharon Hess and Linda Nara; grandchildren, Doug Boucher II, Kristina Willis, Stacy Shipman, Melissa Johnson, Terry Lee Hess, Lisa Book, Larry Nara, Jr., Lynn Ann Vaughn and Louri Koffman; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and brother, Rolland King, Jr. A graveside service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Dr. Doug Boucher officiating.
