Amanda Maria Evans, 22, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2015 at a local healthcare facility. She enjoyed being a homemaker, spending time at the Hiwassee River but especially a mother to her daughter, her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Patricia Evans; father-in-law, James Donald Beasley. She is survived by her husband, John Beasley and daughter, Lilian Maria Beasley; parents Anthony "Brady" and Carolyn "Dodie" Rodgers Evans; brothers, Ralph (Brittany) and Dennis (Jeannie) Evans; brothers-in-law, Bill and Luke Beasley; mother-in-law, Carol Beasley; grandparents, Bill and Barbara Rodgers, Katy Dawson, Raymond Evans; several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Eddie Trentham officiating. Interment will follow at Hiwassee Union Church Cemetery in Reliance, TN. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home.
