Annie L. Burnett Johnson, 74, a resident of Delano, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at an Etowah hospital. She was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Lee Johnson. She is survived by her children, Rose Marie Holmes of Delano, Rhonda Moats and husband, Gary of Delano, Roy Johnson and wife, Regena of Cleveland, Randy Johnson and wife Carla of Radnor, OH, Ricky Johnson and wife, Cindy of Cleveland; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Daniel White officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the funeral home.
