Anthony "Tony" Eldridge Martin, 41, passed away on August, 26, 2010. Tony was a fierce protector of those he called friends and family. He had an amazing heart. He lived with the philosophy of "live life to it's fullest", and that's what he did. He enjoyed the simple things in life like; fishing with his brother and sons, camping with friends and family, and laughing. He had a great laugh and a smile that lit up a room. Even in death, he was able to help others as an organ donor. He will be missed by many. He was survived by his sons, Jake and Josh Martin; mother-Barbara Pridgon; father-Charles Martin; brothers-Jody Martin, CJ Martin, and Thomas Martin; one sister-Beth Martin; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, August 30, 2010, at the Shenandoah Baptist Church with Rev. Windell Wooten officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, August 30, 2010, from 1-2 pm, prior to the service at Shenandoah Baptist Church. Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
