Audie M. Jones, 86, a resident of Benton, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009. She was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. "Hap" Jones; parents, Tom and Texas Armstrong Richardson; 7 brothers; and 5 sisters. She is survived by her sons, Charles "Junior" Jones and his wife, Martha of Benton, Frankie Jones of Benton, and Douglas Jones and wife, Deva of Benton; daughters, Patricia Jones of Benton and Gail Styles of Ocoee; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton with Reverend Floyd Boggess officiating. Interment will follow in Four Mile Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home.
