Barbara A. McClary, 74, resident of Benton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2015 in a local hospital. She was a member of Benton United Methodist Church. She was retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital. She was passionate about cooking and showing her love for family and friends. Ms. McClary is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene C. McClary; parents Horace Sloop and Blanche Yates and beloved daughter-in-law, Felece Wells Farner. She is survived by her children; Michael L. Farner of Benton, Donna D. Calhoun and husband Jackie of Benton, Ricky A. Farner and wife Kay of Augusta, GA., Stephen E. Farner and wife Kim of Benton, Kimberly F. Farner of Linsdale and Glenn E. "Petey" Farner, Jr. and wife Monica of Nashville; grandchildren, Belinda McClary (Daniel) of Benton, Ammie Davis of Reliance, Jill Farner of Benton, Brandon Calhoun (Leigh Anne) of Benton, Ashley Farner of Ringgold, GA, Lauren Farner of Athens, Jack Farner of Cleveland, Anna Roberts and Grace Roberts of Brookeville, MD and Will Farner and Anna Grace Farner of Nashville; great grandchildren, Embry, Connor and Kaelin Barks; Tyler, Aubree and Riley Parsons; Madilyn Calhoun; Kaedyn and Brayleigh Farner, and Brooklyn, Easton and Haven Hendley; and a great-great grandson, Jayce Harshman. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Benton United Methodist Church with Rev. John W. Oldham officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 in Benton Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Benton United Methodist Church prior to the service.
