Barbara Jean Morris, 56, a resident of Reliance, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010 at the family residence. She was of the Methodist faith. She loved her work in home healthcare. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Morris and Myrtle Oliver Morris. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Morris of Reliance; children: Bryan and Christal Morris of Reliance, Tim and Melissa Morris of Cleveland, Tony Jordan and Mary Hyde both of Benton; grandchildren: Blake Jordan, Taylor Jordan, Nolan Morris, Zach Trew and Holly Trew; and one sister, Linda Martin. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Ray Ingram officiating. Interment will follow at Witt Cemetery in Reliance with Zach Trew, Blake Jordan, A.J. Morris, Darrell Hyde, Thomas Cabrera, Randy Gunzenheiser, Doug Adams and Mickey White serving as pallbearers. A White Dove Release Ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
