Beulah Jean Newton, 94, of Ocoee, TN, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at her residence. She was retired as a nurses aide. She was an avid gardener and loved working in her flowers, adored her animals but her greatest love was her kids and grandkids. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Newton, Jr.; parents, Jace and Martha Parton Tucker, eight brothers and eight sisters.

She is survived by her children, Juda (James) Peter of Springboro, PA, Walter (Kitty) Summers, Jr. of Ocoee, TN, Juanita (Bill) Sanislo of Ocoee, Elsa Gabriel of Roaming Shores, OH, Mona Hubbard of Rock Creek, OH and Evelyn Nemec of Ocoee; grandchildren, Dana Buell, Daniel Buell, James Sanislo, Troy Close, Steve Cox, Stephanie Boczar, Travis Close, Mandi Forrestal, Jamie Hedding, Candy Allen; 26 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchild; brother, Dewey Tucker, Indiana.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Pastor Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Newton Family Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service.
