Billie C. Bates, 88, of Ocoee, Tennessee, departed this life on June 11, 2021, surrounded by her beloved family.

Ms. Billie was preceded in death by her loving husband, J.C. Bates; parents, Englewood and Haley Watts; siblings, Margaret Hall, Theresa Gregg, Patsy Meyers, Carl Watts, Phillip "Bull" Watts, and Sue Gregg.

Loved ones left to honor her legacy include her current husband, David Puckett and her five loving children, Margaret Wix, Marilyn Bates, Gayle Taylor (Dean Carver), Mitchell (Joan) Bates, and Eric (Julie) Bates; adored grandchildren, Andrew "Drew" Taylor, Mickey (Kalyn) Bates, Sydney (Kason) Harmon, Jacob Bates, and Emily Graham; great-grandson, Braxton Taylor; sister, Sandra Brown.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Greasy Creek Cemetery with her family serving as pallbearers.
