Bonnie Farmer King, 82, of Reliance, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at her home. She was a member of Archville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommie Farmer; parents, John and Lindy Taylor; sons, Gus, Frank and Elvis Farmer; and siblings, Joe Taylor, Clarence Taylor, John Roy Taylor, Abe Taylor, Lou Ledford, and Lillie Mae King. She is survived by her husband, Wayne King; sons, Kenneth Farmer and wife, Cheryl, Lee Roy Farmer and wife, Judy and Danny Farmer and wife, Sheila; daughters, Sandy Akins and husband, C.B. and Donna Woodby and husband, Gary; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and sister, Blanche Bates. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Archville Baptist Church with the Reverend Wilfred Wright and the Reverend Ray Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in Archville Baptist Church Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
