Bonnie R. Wilcox, 81, of Reliance, departed this life peacefully on January 8, 2026, at an Athens healthcare facility.

She was born on January 22, 1944, in Polk County, Tennessee, to the late Harley C. and Lonnie Shell Rymer.  Throughout life, Ms. Bonnie was a prior member of Archville Baptist Church but most recently had joined Towee Church.  She deeply loved her beautiful flowers that always grew by the steps at their home.  A true dog lover, Bonnie raised several fur babies and loved children.  One of her favorite past times was gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.  She always kept everything from becoming dusty.  Loved by many, she will be missed.

In addition to her parents, Harley and Lonnie Rymer, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Daniel Riley "Boone" Wilcox; one son, Danny "Mike" Wilcox; one granddaughter, Sarah Wilcox; two brothers, Carl Rymer, and Larry Rymer.

Left to cherish the many memories include her three daughters, Raina (Dustin) Crowden, Alexus "Lexie" Wilcox, and Kelly Wilcox; grandchildren, Michael "Mikey" Wilcox, Tasha West and Tristan Staton; great-grandchildren, Bristol Crowden, Liberty Crowden, Makenzie Wilcox, Sarah Weide, Jadon Weide, Summer West, Mia Davis, Katelynn Moses, Hannah Moses, Harley West, Isabella West, Jordan West, and Cameron Miller; great-nephew, Stephen (Amy) Wilcox; cousins, Kaleigh (Tyler) Reason, Brett (Katie) Wilcox, Blake (Heather) Wilcox, and Beth (Daniel) Stinnett. Several extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton, with Pastor Blake Wilcox and Pastor Steve Dills officiating.  Interment will follow at Archville Baptist Church Cemetery, with Dustin Crowden, Nathan Maxwell, Isaac Dagnan, Rodney Wilcox, Mikey Wilcox, and Chris Rymer serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Darrius Wilcox.

Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
