Brenda "Gail" Young Neace, 56, of Cleveland, departed this life peacefully on March 17, 2022, with her family at her side.

Brenda was born October 2, 1965, in Cleveland, Tennessee to Rosie Cross Young and the late Vance Young.

She was a beloved and faithful wife to the love of her life, Johnathon C. Neace and cherished the countless blessings of their life. She was also a lifetime and faithful member of Mercy Tabernacle and loved Jesus Christ while always sharing the blessings of life that God has given her.

A few of her favorite memories include raising her children in a Christian home and she always enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and other family.

In addition to her father, Vance Young, she was preceded by her beloved daughter, Katie Collman, and brother, David Young.

Left to cherish the many memories include her devoted husband of 10 years, Johnny "Jbo" Neace; loving children, Tim (Heather) Lay, Shannon Lay (Billy Davis), and John Wayne Neace; precious grandchildren, Trevor Lay, Colby Lay, Cheyenne Lay, Dakota Hatfield, Jazzlyn Griffith, and Gaven Davis; siblings, Ett (Red) Blackwell, Mike Young, and Boone (Linda) Young; nieces and nephews, Tina Blackwell, Nathan (Heather) Blackwell, and Joey Davis; and several great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Mercy Tabernacle, 443 Clemmer Ferry Road, Benton, TN 37307, with Pastor Edith Blair and Evangelist John Stinnett officiating. Interment will follow at Benton Memorial Gardens, with Trevor Lay, G.W. Sanders, Scott Hembree, Jerry Neace, Dakota Hatfield, Billy Davis, Red Blackwell, John Stinnett, Rob Solomon, Joey Davis, and Mat Lowder serving as pallbearers.

Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Higgins Funeral Home and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service at the church.
