Gilbert H. "Butch" Clave, Jr., 65, a resident of Delano, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the family residence surrounded by his loving family. He moved to the area from Florida, but has lived in the area for the last five years. He was retired from Better Business Forms where he worked as a Maintenance Tech. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert H. Clave, Sr. and Lalah McPhee Rowan. He is survived by his wife, Connie Moss Clave; children, Scott William Clave and wife, Shelley, Chris Gilbert Clave, Sarah Ann Clave Bean and husband, Dave, Edward Lee Harrison and wife, Shellie, and Lisa Ann Harrison Morris and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Scott William Clave II, Phillip Edward Stevens, Alexandra Elizabeth Clave, Christopher Ryan Clave, Justin Robert Clave, Brandon William Clave, Jacob Leland Bean, Hanah Marie Bean, Matthew Ryan Harrison, Elizabeth Grace Harrison and Megan Ashley Morris; brother, James Clave; sisters, Kay Calnen and husband, Tom and Winnie Davis and husband, Chuck; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home in Benton.
