Carl "Kenneth" Dishman, age 67, a resident of Benton, passed away Friday, December 16, 2005 to go home to be with the Lord. Before retirement, he was employed with ADM Milling. He was a member of Ocoee Church of God. His parents, Gib and Winnie Dishman, preceded him in death as well as his son, John "Guido" Dishman.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Dishman of Benton; daughters: Linda Franklin, Marlena Miller and husband, Gary, all of Benton; sons: Duane Dishman, and Sam Lucido, both of Battle Creek, MI; grandchildren: Zachary and Megan Miller of Benton, Sara, Duane, LaDonna, Misty and Zane Dishman, Krystle, Nick, Zachary and Malaenia Lucido, all of Battle Creek, MI; sisters and brothers: Carlene McBride, Patsy Dishman, Jeannie Kellogg, Belinda Trevino, Leonard Dishman, Ricky Dishman and Willis Dishman; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Ocoee Church of God with Reverend Jerry Herron and Reverend James Forgey officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service.

His family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home.
