Charlie Robert Goble, 77, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at a Knoxville Hospital. A native of Benton, he moved to California where he served in the United States Navy. He relocated to Benton after his retirement and lived there until his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Ethel Green Goble; siblings, Eldon Goble, Betty Goble Wooten, Edward Goble, Hoyt Goble and J.R. Goble

He is survived by his daughter, Lawinda Erberich; 4 granddaughters all of California; sister, Christine Adams of Benton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Benton, TN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 642 Oak Grove Road, Benton, TN 37307.
