Christopher "Chris" Elrod, 43, of Delano, departed this life peacefully on February 28, 2022, at his residence.

He was born October 7, 1978, to Virginia Wilcox and the late Abraham Elrod.

Throughout life, Chris developed a passion for being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and was a skilled mechanic. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known him. He was a faithful Christian and loved worshipping our Lord.

Left to cherish the many memories include his beloved mother, Virginia Wilcox; loving sister, Kelly Wilcox; nieces, Katia Wilcox and Tiara Wilcox.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Delano Cemetery.

Family and friends will gather from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Monday, prior to the service at Higgins Funeral Home.
