Cindy Johnson Swanson, 52, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 in a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Manuel D. Price, Edith Price, Woodrow Dyer and Wilma Dale; and brother, Jackie Swanson, Jr. She is survived by her son, Travis Clark and wife, Michelle of Cleveland; grandson, Austin Burris; parents, Jack Swanson, Sr. and Augustine Price Swanson; sister, Tinia and Allen Martin of Benton; brother, Mark and Sheila Swanson of Cleveland; nephews, Jessie, Jake and Sammy Swanson of Cleveland and Joseph and Mathew Swanson of Winston Salem, NC; and nieces, Tiffani, Kimberly and Jill Martin and Brandy Swanson, all of Benton. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton with the Reverend David Bowers officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
