Michael "Coty" Smith, 38, of Benton, went home to be with Jesus on September 23, 2021.

Coty was born on October 31, 1982, in Cleveland to Ms. Donna Gibson and the late Mr. James "Mickey" Smith.

Throughout life, Coty attended Trewhitt School and graduated apart of the Class of 2005 from Cleveland High School and was of the Pentecostal faith. Loved by many and cherished by all, Coty brought a smile like no other and each person that met him received a blessing from his presence. He will be missed by all.

In addition to his father, James Smith, he was preceded in death by numerous family members that he loved dearly.

Left to cherish the many precious memories include his beloved mother, Donna Gibson; a loving sister, Shauna Cronan; cherished grandmother, Kathleen Blankenship; nieces, Alexis Cronan and Sierra Cronan; nephew, Ryan Cronan.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Delano Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Underwood officiating.

Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Higgins Funeral Home.
