Cumo Roberts Cross, 96, of Benton, departed this life on July 20, 2022.

Born in New Mexico on October 2, 1925, to the late Warner and Lydia Elsie McMillan Roberts, Cumo was always willing to be of service to God and others. Her love for God, family, and others brought her the most pleasure during her 96 years of life.

In addition to her parents, Warner and Lydia Elsie Roberts, she was also preceded by her loving husband, Willard Cross; brothers, Wayne Roberts and Thane Roberts; sister, Thelma Roberts DeMerchant; and precious grandchildren, Peter and Jessi Lyn.

Left to cherish the many memories include her children, Marilyn (Edward) Spangler, Warner (Patricia) Cross, Lyle (Carol) Cross, Kathy (Raymond) Ouellette, and Keith Cross; grandchildren, Bonnie, Edward II, Mark, Sean, Kevin, Jamie, Jeffery, Kimberly, Amanda, and Natalia; 16 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren and another on the way.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Benton Seventh-day Adventist Church.
