Curtis D. Loveday, 91, a resident of Benton, departed this life peacefully on October 15, 2026, at a local healthcare facility.
He was born on January 16, 1935, in the Eastanallee community, to the late Hubert and Eula Campbell Loveday. A few of his fondest memories include farming, raising cattle, and spending time with his grandson, Ethan. He was a true family man, spending time with them as often as possible. He served on the Soil Conservation committee, the board at Farm Bureau, and various positions at First Baptist Church of Benton, where he was an active member for many years. Curtis was a friend to many and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Hubert and Eula Loveday, he was preceded in death by his beloved and devoted wife, Margaret Biggs Loveday; two infant twin brothers; sister, Melva Buckner; two brothers-in-law, Erle Buckner and Chestley Johnston.
Left to cherish the many memories include one son, Terry (Jenna) Loveday; one grandson, Ethan Loveday; one sister-in-law, Mattie Johnston; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2026, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton, with Pastor Dr. Robert K. Speights officiating.
