Daniel "Curtis" Wilcox, age 78, a resident of Benton, passed away Saturday, May 06, 2006. He was a self-employed logger and was of the Baptist faith. His parents, Dan and Cora Dunn Wilcox, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wifeof 54 years, Anna Ruth Wilcox of Benton; three children: Danny Wilcox and his fiance Ann Cummings, Linda Wilcox and Betty Ann Wilcox, all of Benton; and best friend, Bunk Rogers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Lee Ingram and Reverend Joe Hatcher officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery with Larry "Diddle" Lewis, Johnny Bramlett, David Clayton, Frank Brannon, Randy "Cotton" Bates and Bruce Rymer serving as pallbearers.

His family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
