Daniel Riley Wilcox, 71, a resident of Reliance, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 at his residence. He was a member of Archville Baptist Church in Reliance. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Velmer Ruth Hedden Wilcox and brothers, Jerald and Cecil Wilcox. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Rymer Wilcox; children, Mike Wilcox, Raina Wilcox and Alexus Wilcox all of Reliance; three grandchildren; siblings, Harold and Elaine Wilcox of Cleveland, Anna-Lou and Odean Rymer of Delano, Bruce Wilcox of Benton, Darris and Sue Wilcox of Reliance, Dale and Sandy Wilcox of Reliance and Hubert Wilcox of Reliance. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Wilfred Wright and the Reverend Steve Dill officiating. Interment will follow in Archville Baptist Church Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
