Danny Tommie Farmer, 53, a resident of Benton, TN passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 19, 2018. Danny celebrated his 54th birthday in heaven on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. He was a member of Ocoee Baptist Church for over 20 years and was the center piece of the Ocoee Trio. He played all instruments but the piano was his passion. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie and Bonnie Farmer-King; brothers, Gus Farmer, Frank Farmer and David Elvis Farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Sheila Denise Farmer; children, Kelly Childs, Andy Burch (Melissa), Jarrod Farmer (Tabby), Ashley Burch; grandchildren, Keziah Burch, soon-to-be, Ashdyn Tinslee Farmer; siblings, Kenneth Farmer (Cheryl), LeeRoy Farmer (Judy), Donna Woodby (Gary), Sandra Akins (CB); special fur baby and companion, Maybell. Several nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Archville Baptist Church with Reverend Travis Bates and Reverend Blake Wilcox officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN and from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at Archville Baptist Church, Reliance, TN prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Archville Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jarrod Farmer, Andy Burch, Ryan Rowland, Seth Farmer, Coty Farmer, Gabe Farmer, John Farmer, Jody Killian and Will Hatcher.
