David Lee Harrold, 61, a resident of Snellville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at a local hospital in Snellville, Georgia. He was a member of the Benton Station Baptist Church. He was a former postman for the United States Postal service. He was a veteran of the United States Marines.

Mr. Harrold was the son of the late David Anderson Harrold and Irene Long Harrold. He was also preceded in death by two brothers; Eddie and Lewis Harrold, one sister; Jeannette Cooper.

Survivors include his brother and spouse: Johnny and Shirley Harrold of Jefferson, Georgia; two sisters and spouse: Faye and Wade Arnett of Forsyth, Georgia and Frances Brackett of Etowah, TN; nieces: Rhonda Mitchell of Snellville, Georgia, Linda Hammontree of Gastonia, N.C Tonya Critchfield of Jackson, Tennessee and Wanda L. Jones of Jefferson, Georgia; several other nieces and nephews and also several great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2007 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Benton Station Cemetery with military honors.

His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the funeral home.
