Debra Varnell, 71, of Benton, departed this life on December 6, 2024.

She was born on September 16, 1953, in Peoria, Illinois to the late Harold and Dalyne Wheeler Moore.

Debras passion throughout her life was working as a CNA in the mental health field. She enjoyed cross stitch embroidery, sweet foods, and her fur babies, Mandy and Ruger. Her fondest memories were the time spent with her family, friends, and coworkers.

In addition to her parents, Harold and Dalyne Moore, she was preceded in death by one niece, Brandy Moore.

Left to cherish the many memories include her loving husband, Frank Varnell; children, Angela (Tony) Ledford, Chad Cook, Abbey (Jesse) Pierce, Katlin Varnell, and Jacob "Jake" Varnell; grandchildren, Amanda Ledford, Brandon Cook, Tyler Cook, Jonathan Cook, Grayson Pierce, Andrew Stone, Bentley Berry, Skylar Bartley, Sophia Bartley, and Maverick Varnell; siblings, Dave (Nancy) Moore, Ron (Cindy) Moore, and Karen (Ron) Fawcett. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Benton Town Cemetery, with Jacob Varnell, Jesse Pierce, Andrew Stone, Bentley Berry, Maverick Varnell, and Tony Ledford serving as pallbearers.
