Dollie Hulda Hawkins, age 92, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 11, 2006 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of the West Cleveland Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Magic Chef. Mrs. Hawkins was the daughter of the late S. E. Bain, Sr. and Annie Curbow Bain and was also preceded in death by two brothers: Melvin Bain and S.E. Bain, Jr.

She is survived by her two sisters: Dovie Culpepper and husband, Louis Culpepper of Benton and Dorothy Carson of Cleveland; brother, Clyde Bain and wife, Floreine Bain of Cleveland.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Frank Nolan officiating. Interment will follow in Cookson Creek Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
