Donald C. Meachen II, 83, of Benton, Tennessee, completed his journey on this earth on May 16, 2025.

He was a native of Florida before moving to Tennessee in 1979. Don worked as a Draftsman and was a craftsman with a talent for making beautiful things out of ordinary objects. His passion and handy work can be seen in the canes, knives, jewelry, and leatherwork. Don enjoyed traveling, viewing wildlife, and spending time with his family. His travels were often inspiration for his art. Don's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Patricia; son, Troy; and daughter, Tracey.

Left to cherish the many memories include his 6 daughters, Tammy, Tina, Tanya (Todd Pile), Tiffany (Steve Kincannon), Tatum, and Tish; his 3 sons, Todd, Trevor (Linda), and Tanner (Sally); as well as his 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at the Meachen Family Cemetery, followed by a family dinner at First Baptist Church of Benton.
