Rubin Douglas Waters, aged 56, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away peacefully on February 19, surrounded by his family after battling lung cancer.

Doug was born on August 6, 1969 in Cleveland, TN.

Doug was predeceased in death by his beloved father Aster Lee Waters. He is survived by his two sons Cody Waters, of Cleveland, TN and Nicolas Waters, of CT. He also leaves behind two grandchildren Jason and Annie Waters, and many extended family and friends. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton.  Interment will follow at Benton Memorial Gardens, with his family and friends serving as pallbearers.
