Doyle L. Patterson, 64, a life-long resident of Polk County, departed this life on June 20, 2023.

He was born on April 27, 1959, in Etowah, Tennessee to the late R.A. and Mildred Lockhart Patterson.

A graduate of Polk County High School, Doyle had a passion for talking on C.B. Radios and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He loved spending time with his family and will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish the many memories include his siblings, Patsy (Ray) Peels, DeWayne (Kim) Patterson, and Ronnie (Connie) Patterson.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Townsend officiating. Interment will follow at Delano Cemetery with Billy Ray Howard, Ray Peels, Troy Shelton, Jamie Moody, Matthew Killian, and Ronnie Patterson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Creekmore and Scott Moody.

Family and friends will gather from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
