Edd "Cowboy" Davenport, 85, a resident of Reliance, TN passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at his residence. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for the Forestry Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bascom and Ida Hall Davenport; siblings, Marvin Davenport, Vester Johnson, Delmer Davenport, Sammy Davenport, Syble Davenport, Ollie Murray, Anna Mae Wiseman, Ruth Goforth, Vance Davenport, Warren Davenport.

He is survived by his sons, Johnny Davenport and Edward Davenport; grandchildren, Anna, Noah and Lilly Davenport. Several nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2018 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow in Greasy Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the funeral home prior to the service.
