Eddie McTaggart, 46, of Benton, TN passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016. He was a loving son and brother. He loved to hunt and fish, go four wheeling and a Nascar fan. He was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his son, Hunter McTaggart; grandparents, Johnny and Annie Shelton and Bunyon and Elfreda McTaggart.

He is survived by his parents, James and Judy McTaggart; brother, Victor (Leslie) McTaggart; nephew, Brandon McTaggart; special uncle, Ben (Josette) McTaggart; aunts, Mary Ellen (James) Morris, Patricia (Mike) Davis, Sue Walden, Janet Chapman; uncle, Ricky (Angie) Shelton; great uncle, S. L. McTaggart.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Floyd Boggess, Reverend Earl Gentry and Reverend Gary Helton officiating. Interment will follow in Old Ocoee Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home.
