Edna Norris Lawson, 96, of Benton, TN passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday morning, August 8, 2018. She was a member of Benton Station Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Benton Banking Company and Benton Manufacturing and spent many of her later years caring for her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben S. Lawson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Norris; six brothers; three sisters; granddaughter, Edie Lane and grandson, Stanley Guy.

She is survived by her three daughters, Phyllis Guy (Larry) of Benton, Elizabeth Lane (Tom) of Dalton, Sue Strange (Jerry) of Surfside Beach, SC and son, Ben S. Lawson, Jr. (Alisa) of Riceville; grandchildren, Matt Lane (Tina) of Dalton, Cam Guy of Knoxville, Meg Guy of Roan Mountain, Laura Lamb (Tony) of Riceville and Ben S. Lawson III of Conway, SC; great grandchildren, Emily Lane of Dalton, Eli Lane of Dalton, Hannah DeSherlia of Riceville and Kelsey DeSherlia of Riceville.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Benton Station Baptist Church with Jay Edward Whittemore and Reverend Ryan Potts officiating. Interment will follow in the Benton Station Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the services.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
