Emma A. Jewell Freeman, 72, of Benton, TN passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her residence. She was a good cook and when she could drive, she was "on the go".

She was preceded in death by her step-father and mother, R. J. Cronan and Ruby Brewster Cronan; daughter, Pati Barker; grandson, Randy Johnston.

She is survived by daughter, Robyn (Jason) Choate; grandchildren, Ashley Johnston, Tiphane Choate, Kenzy Choate, Jonah Brock; sisters, Peggy (Jack) Beard, Shirley (Ronnie) Stiles; brother, Stanley Cronan; great-grandchildren, Peyton Bell, Bentley Bell, Georgia Mateo, Geneis Gomez. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN with the Reverend Richard Mason officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service.
