Erlynn Kay Luke, 62, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of Ball Play Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Callis (Doc) and Joan Clark Lane; sister, Roxann Meeks; and grandmother, Gladys Brammer. Survivors include her children, Melissa Taylor, of Old Fort, Chris Lane (Melanie) and Bill Luke both of Benton, TN. She is, also, survived by a sister, Melody Holdcraft (Jr.) of Lawrenceburg IN, brothers Bart Lane (Georgia), Johnny Lane (Pam) of Anderson, AL, Doc Lane (Laurie), Chuck Lane (Tina), Gary Lane all of Lawrenceburg, IN, grandsons Russell Taylor, Jr. (Kiela) and Marcus Taylor (Ashley), granddaughters Brittney, Skye, Zoey, great grandchildren, Kevin, Gabby, Sheadan, Alyssa, Adyen, Mia, Brittlei, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2014 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend David Owens officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, August 8, 2014 from 5 - 7 p.m. prior to the service at 7:00 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home.
