Jesus called His beloved child, Rozella home to Him on August 25, 2025. She was 97.  Ethel Rozella Erickson was born in WaKeeney, Kansas to Henry and Hilda Maier on July 25, 1928.

Rozella lived in Fort Collins, Colorado from the age of 5, until she and Forest moved to Aurora, Colorado in 1948, where they lived for 24 years. They returned to Fort Collins in 1972.  They were married for 67 years. In 2016, she moved to Tennessee with Dennis and Linda and lived at Legacy Village in Cleveland for almost 7 years. She loved her family and friends well and served others faithfully.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Donna Jean Kendall, brother Duane Maier, and the love of her life, husband Forest Erickson.

Rozella is survived by daughter, Linda Bason, son-in-law Dennis Bason, grandson, Brian Bason, and great-grandsons, Jagger Bason and Burke Bason.

Heartfelt gratitude to the staff and residents for their love, tender care, and friendship to "Miss Rozella."  Thanks to Chattanooga Hospice for their kind care during the short time she needed it.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ocoee, Tennessee, with Reverend Doyle McCracken and Chaplain David Taylor officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. CST on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 8426 US-287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
