Brenda Faye Bain, 74, of Linsdale, departed this life peacefully on January 3, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on January 13, 1952, to the Thad Cross and Opal Morgan Cross in Athens, Tennessee. She was loved by her family, and she enjoyed spending time with them. She will be missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Thad and Opal Morgan Cross, she was preceded in death by one son and one daughter, Richard Bain and Elizabeth Bain; grandson, Joseph Womac; granddaughter, Michelle Bain; siblings and their spouses, Patsey and Red Morgan, Kathleen and Rufus Lee, and Linda and Tom Blackwell.
Left to cherish the many memories include her beloved husband, Joseph "Joe" Bain; daughters, Mary Watkins and Kathleen Ebright; grandchildren, Dustin (Katie) Watkins, William Bartlett, and Rebecca Bartlett; siblings, Mary Helen (Ray) Ingram, Dean (David) Farris, and Gene (Denise) Cross. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton, with Pastor Pete Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery in Springtown, with her family serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
