Franklin “Fuzzy” Allen Bowers, 48, of Reliance, passed away on April 18, 2026.

He was born on April 22, 1977, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to the late Gene Bowers and Sharon Ellis Coleman.

Throughout life, Fuzzy was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed working on cars. A few of his fondest memories included watching wrestling on tv, meeting new people, and spending time with his family. His most prized possessions were his family. He loved spending time with them, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Gene Bowers and Sharon Ellis Coleman, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Janice “Nanny” Freeman.

Left to cherish the many memories include his loving wife of 30 years, Stacy Freeman Bowers; beloved children, Shelby Hardin, Nick (C.J.) Hardin, Felicia (Zack) Park, Summer Bowers, and Tristen Bowers; adored grandchildren, Brihley Dunn, Camden Dunn, Elijah Hardin, Annika Moore, Dylan Hardin, Janice Hardin, Jason Bauer, Ellyonna Cripps, David Park, Mallory Park, Dakota Stamey, and McKenna Bowers; brothers, Gene (Susie) Bowers, and Danny (Jamie) Ellis; nephews, Rusty Bowers, and Dusty Bowers; best friends, Josh and Tiffany Stamey and their son, Caleb Stamey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
