Gerald S. Passmore, 83, a resident of Ocoee, TN passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 with his loving family at his bedside. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was retired from Bowater after 42 years of service. He loved to fish, hunt, camp and travel. He was a Tennessee football fan but his greatest love was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen E. and Bonnie Pate Passmore; sisters, Maxine Lewis and Jean Holden.

He is survived by his wife, Uldine; sons, Gregory D. (Marsha) Passmore of Cleveland, TN, Randy Stanley Passmore of Chattanooga, TN, and Brian Scott Passmore of Ocoee, TN; brothers, Guinn E. Passmore and Roger Dale (Beth) Passmore. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ocoee, TN with the Reverend Charles Campbell and Reverend Kinzel Hooker officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 in Shed Cemetery with military honors. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the church prior to the service.
