Gladys Price Rhodes, 86, of Zephyrhills, FL, and a former resident of Benton, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Dade City, Florida. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel Baptist Church in Zephryhills, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearly and Maggie Hampton Green; first husband, Harley Price; and grandson, Lloyd Neil Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Russell Rhodes of Zephyrhills, FL; children, Cora Lou Tilson of Benton, Emma Lee Campbell of Canton, GA, and Reba Price, Wayne Price, Johnny Price and Barbara Mello, all of Brooksville, FL; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and brother, D.C. Green of Fayetteville, NC. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Greasy Creek Cemetery with the Reverend Vernon Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
