Gloria Mae Hicks, 73, of Benton, TN passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at her residence. She was a member and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church and loved her church family. Gloria was always smiling and open hearted to everyone. She lived in foster homes all her childhood and above all she made sure her family knew they were LOVED. She enjoyed playing card games, was very competitive and had weekly game night with her family and friends. She loved nature and all of Gods creation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Brockington and Virginia Pardo; foster parents, Lloyd and Jenny Chase; son, Henry "Jay" Hicks; brother, Ronald "Fuzzy" Stevens; granddaughter, Shelby Ann Pawlak.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Keith) Kirk; grandson, James Edward Pawlak.

A Celebration of Life will be at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Benton, TN with Reverend Joel Jenkins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the church prior to the service.
