Gregory E. "Greg" Brackett, 58, a resident of Old Fort, Tennessee, passed away on December 20, 2025.

He was born on December 10, 1967, in Cleveland, TN., to Mary Jane Wilcoxon Lott and the late Mac E. Brackett.

Greg was a dedicated volunteer with the West Polk Volunteer Fire & Rescue.  He was very well known in the community and loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mac Elwin Brackett; grandparents, Fred and Loretta Brackett, Glen and Stella Wilcoxon, and stepfather, Jesse Lott, Jr.

Left to cherish the many memories include his loving mother, Mary Jane Wilcoxon Lott; aunt, Nancy Wilcoxon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Higgins Funeral Home of Benton with Pastor Charles Moore officiating.  Interment will follow at Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Chatsworth, Georgia.

His family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
