Harry F. Pettit, 74, of Ocoee, TN passed away April 28, 2019 at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland, TN. He was a long time member of Benton Church of Christ where he served as song leader for many years. He enjoyed attending acapella singings. He was retired from TVA after 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his twin sons, Calvin and Kevin; infant daughter, Nancy; daughter, Pam Culp; grandson, Kevin Bryan Culp; parents, Willard and Martha Ollie Mowery Pettit; brothers, Joe, Don, Jim and Junior Pettit; sisters, Martha Thomas, Virginia Harris, Wanda Thomas, Margaret Gates and Ida Mae Epperson.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Stone Pettit; son, Doug Pettit; grandson, Nicolas Ryan Culp; sister, Joyce (Ray) Willis. Several nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Higgins Funeral, Benton, TN with Minister John Deck and Minister Eric Bender officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the funeral home prior to the service.
