Helen Marie Maynor, 87, a resident of Benton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2019 with her loving family at her side. She was a lifelong member of Benton Station Baptist Church, in which she was an active member of Childrens Sunday school for many years, Vacation Bible School, choir as a teenager and WMU.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zelma Hall Dixon and Cam Dixon; son, Jack Maynor, Jr.

Survivors include her loving children, Sandra Maynor and Danny (Kelly) Maynor; grandchildren, Randa Binns, Travis Maynor, Elizabeth Jones, Jackie Marie Lewis, Nicole Thompson and Seth Maynor.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2019 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Jenkins and Pastor Ryan Potts officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Benton Station Baptist Church Cemetery with John Miles, Glenn Stephens, Shawn Lewis, Harry Speegle, Robert Banks and Randy Speegle serving as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
