Hugh Ronald Hicks, Jr., 28, a life long resident of Benton, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at his home. He was a crane operator with Simpson Bridge Company. He attended Benton First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his by his father, Hugh Ronald Hicks, Sr.; son, Seth Hicks; and brother, Scott Kile. He is survived by his wife, Hannah Wright Hicks; mother, Elizabeth Summers Peshoff; children, Scott Hicks, Ronald Hicks, Zachery Hicks and Anna Grace Hicks; and sister, Lesa McCracken and husband, Mitchell of Cleveland. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Benton First Baptist Church with Dr. Robbie Speights officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
