Iola Moorhouse Brock, 93, of Benton, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at her residence. She was a member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church and a retired seamstress from Benton Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Julia Moorhouse; sisters, Stella Hall, Elizabeth Crumley and Pearl McCallum and brothers, Richard T. "Hot Shot" Moorhouse, Jack Moorhouse, Walter M. Moorhouse, John Henry Moorhouse and Boyd Moorhouse. She is survived by her husband, Curtus Elton Brock of Benton; brothers, Charles Elmer Moorhouse and William Earl Moorhouse; sister, Velma M. Massengill; special niece and caregiver, Janice Elliott and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, July 12, 2015 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00- 3:30 pm on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
