James "Scotty" Lowe, 73, of Benton, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2021 at a Chattanooga healthcare facility.

He was born on June 3, 1947 to the late Maudie and Carl Lowe in Greasy Creek, TN.

Scotty was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was an avid trader and enjoyed fishing and working on cars.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved son, Gary Lowe; siblings, Estelle Rayburn, Austin Lowe, Rassie Lowe, Jerry Lowe and Loretta Lowe; granddaughter, McKenzi Breanna Rogers.

Survivors include his beloved children, Tim Lowe and Tracy Rogers; grandchildren, Niki Brown, Jesse Lowe, Caitlyn Lowe, Tyler Rogers, Conner Lowe and Kelsey Rogers; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Chassie Buckner, Clarie Davenport and Maryellen Ledford.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Archville Baptist Church Cemetery.
