James "Ronnie" Price left this world on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, doing what he loved, "working".

Ronnie worked for 42 years as a builder.  He was greatly respected by all who knew him.  His "contract" was a shake of a hand.  Ronnie stood on his word and will be remembered for his honesty and the love he had for his extensive family.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Arrie and Annie Price; siblings, Arelean, John Henry, Frank, Teena, Linda, and Roscoe; stepson, Tracey Prince; grandson, Timmy Prince, as well as many extended family members.

Left to cherish the many memories include his patient and loving wife of 45 years, Wanda Price; brother, Clyde Price; children, Tabetha (Danny), Zach (Amanda), Keisha (Niki); an honorary daughter, Lisa (Jeff); grandchildren, Jerry Paul (CJ), Shayne, Scottie, Price (Kim), Blake, Skylar, Zoe, Brandie, Brandon, Dakota, Bailey, Brooke, and Justin; honorary granddaughters, Raven and Brittany; along with his numerous great-grandchildren, Macie, Kamie, Sawyer, Braxzton, Paisley, Mackenzie, Ashlyn, Trenton, Bryson, Brently, Ava, Jaxton "Jack", and Emaline.  He will be remembered by his best friend, Dub German.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Steve Ross officiating.  Interment will follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Jerry Paul Harrison, Jr., Shayne Forgey, David Price, Shawn Price, Price Patterson, Josh Owens, Danny Ramsey and Zach Patterson serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are Clyde Price and Jeremy Price.

Family and friends will gather from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
